The fauna of Kintrishi is quite diverse. Like many other National Parks of Georgia, Kintrishi is rich in relict trees, among which are beech and chestnut. In addition, it is possible to find more than 1000 species of various plants, including those listed in the Red Book.
They adorn the national park of the fortress, churches on the heights, ancient monasteries carved into the rocks, and national houses that are more than one hundred years old. Also here you can see the ruins of the arched bridges of medieval times.
We invite you to a walking tour of the park.
Early in the morning from Batumi (9-00) or Kutaisi (8-00) on a comfortable transport, bypassing Kobuleti, we will begin the ascent along the Kinkishi River.
And now, the road ends. Here we leave the car, take backpacks and go on a path along the paths of the park.
On the way to the ancient monastery, we will enjoy the virgin nature, the purest streams and waterfalls.
After exploring the monastery, we organize a picnic with kebabs and real Georgian wine.
The length of the route is 10 kilometers (in both directions).
You need comfortable hiking shoes, shorts, hats. Bathing suits come in handy.
The excursion ends at 20-00 with the delivery of tourists to Batumi or Kutaisi
