The route starts from Batumi.
The group gathering place and departure is at the beginning of the old boulevard near the tourist information center.
The excursion runs along the trans-Ajar highway and covers the mountainous Adjara.
driving through Khelvachauri and Kedin districts, we get to the center of Shuakhevi.
We cross the Adzharistskali river by road bridge and enter the Chirukhistskali valley.
After a mile and a half in front of us, the fortress Okropilauri.
The fortress is located on an elevation, at the confluence of two rivers Chirukhistskali and Tbeti. Previously, this fortress was called Uchamba.
Further along the picturesque gorge of Chirukhistskali, after 12 km we drive up to the Transfiguration Church of Oladuri (the church was rebuilt in the beginning of the 21st century).
From the church, our route runs to the village and to the fortress Darchidzeebi.
Darchidzeebi fortress at the top of the cliff and despite significant damage is quite visible from the road, it offers beautiful views of the Chirukhistskali valley.
We stop at a spring with beautiful clear water. where we make photo shoots with nature and after 7 km we reach the summer camp of Chiruhi, where we are waiting for lunch with kebabs from local residents in nature.
After enjoying plenty of mountain views, return to Batumi in the evening.
