She is a famous actress He is a globally recognized sports commentator and theater actor.
Kote Makharadze and Sofiko Chiaureli have lived together for 30 years.
Their love began with the theater. In one of the performances, Kote and Sofiko played lovers, and played genuinely.
Both at that time were not free, but this did not prevent the great feeling from breaking out.
“In the seventies, at the Mardjanishvili Theater, we rehearsed a play in which Sophiko and I played lovers. And unnoticed, that text about love began to coincide with my current desire:
Sofiko is sitting on the stage, but I want to hug her, kiss her.
After some time, we both realized that we could not be without each other. This is how our love got together. And off we go! "- recalled Makharadze.
In veiled messages, in her reports, Makharadze invited Sophiko to meet the whole world, and Chiaureli admitted that she could not live without Kote even for three days. She survived her husband for only five years.
On this day, we will invite you to walk along the streets of Old Tbilisi.
Stories of love, of all eras, of all ages and nationalities are intertwined in these streets.
All day you will be with a guide who knows these stories and loves them.
Amazing country Georgia!
Imagine her small size and the truth of the majesty of her soul!
In this tour we will try to reveal the soul of Georgia - through examples of selfless faith and love.
The tour starts in Tbilisi.
You will be accommodated in easy chairs and head east to Kakheti.
On the road, you will hear about two symbols of the country - Faith and Love. You will understand what faith means for Georgians. Where did its origins and at what price managed to maintain faith in the country.
You will understand that faith is not blind worship, but a part, a very important, fundamental part of the great history of the formation of Georgia. Without exaggeration, we can say that modern Georgia is such, thanks to centuries of selfless defense of its Faith.
And here in front of you is a convent in Bodbe.
Here you will be told the story of Holy Equal to the Apostles Nina - the one who spread the light of Faith and Enlightenment in Georgia.
The story is incredible! It makes you think deeply, peer into yourself, makes you look for the roots of your ancestors and ask yourself a question - could I do the same?
You can see the last refuge of St. Nino, visit her grave and go down to the source of power. In summer you can take ablution and. Believe me, you will feel several times better!
After visiting the monastery, you will visit the city of Love Sighnaghi.
Remember the story of a million scarlet roses? It was here, in this city, that the petals of roses were strewn with one of the courtyards.
It was on these stone pavements that Margarita and Niko Pirosmani walked!
You will see and feel the unique atmosphere of romanticism and aesthetics on the streets of this town.
Wonderful street art, unique balconies and quaintly meandering streets of Sighnagi will cast a lyrical mood on you.
You will enjoy even more in the Pirosmani Museum. Feeling the beauty of Sighnaghi, you will understand his motives even more deeply when he created his uncomplicated paintings. You will understand that they are exactly the reality of exactly that mood and atmosphere, which at that time reigned in the streets of the town.
After lunch at the family restaurant (where, by the way, the unique interior of the rural farmstead is recreated, and the owner is an enthusiastic sommelier and wine collector), after enjoying the taste of dishes and the interior, having considered a wonderful collection of wines, you will go on.
And at the end of the excursion you will visit the famous manor in the town of Tsinandali - the house-museum of the Chavchavadze family.
This visit will be the apotheosis of the excursion, because the Great Georgian Culture and Great Faith and Great Love are woven together in this estate.
The history of the Chavchavadze family - an ode to how people who sincerely love their land and their people in a short time accomplished the feat - were able to steer the country along the path of progress. The story of Sandro Griboyedov and Nino Chavchavadze is the story of Great Love and Great Faith ...
Take your time .. imbued with the spirit of this estate. Feel the power of Faith and Love ..
Georgia, at least, 2500 years old and all this time it existed thanks to three values; Earth, Wine and Orthodoxy. You will feel all this after visiting a beautiful corner of Georgia - Kakheti.
In Kakheti, there is the well-known Alazani Valley (the breadbasket of Georgia), where one of the fertile lands of Georgia is sown with wheat and sunflower and of course there grows grapes.
Wine is holy for a Georgian. Few people have their own homemade wine, which they are proud of and offended like a small child, if someone does not like it. This is not so much a pleasant alcoholic drink, as a means of helping in communication. The cult of wine in Georgia has a centuries-old tradition; we absorb love and understanding of wine with mother’s milk.
We invite you to this fertile land. Where, besides the wonderful nature and ancient monuments of architecture, you will see the wine cellar (marani) of the 16th century. Where will they show you how to cook real Georgian wine, make unforgettable Chacha, bake home-made bread and of course kebabs. Where do without him? Yes, what I write, they will not show, and you yourself will prepare both bread and kebabs and even khinkali, and you will appreciate all this at the wonderful Georgian table.
Welcome, Kakheti is waiting for you!
Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili tied the dance. Their acquaintance and love, which lasted more than half a century, began with the dance.
In 1945, Sukhishvili and Ramishvili created their own folk dance group, today known as the National Ballet - Sukhishvili. There were no analogues to the Sukhishvili-Ramishvili team, whose names became a real brand, not only in the Soviet Union, but throughout the world.
Despite the tight schedule of the tour, the couple never stopped caring about each other. Every morning Nino Ramishvili started
with a cigarette. And so that she did not smoke on an empty stomach, Iliko would bring her coffee with milk on a tray. He did not come only once - on the day of his death.
Sukhishvili and Ramishvili have lived together for more than half a century,
but out of principle they did not legitimize their relationship.
“I hate these state bureau of marriage and other embittered aunts who give false congratulations. And the very word“ registration ”makes me angry,” Nino Ramishvili said.
We are again in Tbilisi. And we get to know him as a city that knows about Love more than anyone else: Interesting places, the magic of salons with wedding dresses, a photo session in Georgian clothes, an exhibition of paintings about love, meetings with people who arrange a holiday for those in love — feel like newlyweds!
For many young people in Georgia for centuries the example of love and relationships between a man and a woman were heroes of the famous
to the whole world of the poem "The Knight in Tiger Skin".
Poems about love and the exchange of such messages were the most common way to express love.
However, openly expressing your feelings was considered shame. The “engagement from the cradle” and “garigeb” traditions in Georgia did not allow young people to make their own choices.
The exception was the mountain regions of Georgia, where there was a right to freely choose a couple. “Scorproba” and “Tsatsloba”, common in Khevsureti and Tusheti, allowed young people who sympathize with each other, not only to meet,
but also to caress and date.
Today we will go to Kazbegi and visit a very unusual temple: Gergetis Sameba.
By the fore, couples who have been there live in harmony and love! Take advantage of the opportunity!
Today is full of romance! This is a photo session at the walls of ancient Ananuri, horseback riding and blessing in the most significant church of Georgia - Svetitskhoveli.
Georgia will remember you, and a piece of Georgia will remain in your heart forever, which will keep your love!
