Q: What else can I do in the resorts apart from skiing/snowboarding?

Gudauri: There are several cafes and a restaurant on the territory of the resort. But the choice is not really wide. If the weather is fine you can visit Stepantsminda. You can also go down to Tbilisi or Mestia.

Bakuriani: There's a well developed infrastructure here. You can go to Borjomi by Kukushka (the narrow-gauge railway between Borjomi and Bakuriani).

Mestia: There are many cafes, a restaurant and a night club.

Goderdzi: This is quite a young resort and there aren't many apres ski options. You can spend your evening in the hotel bar or - if you feel bored - go down to Batumi. And the city offers you plenty ways to spend your free time!

What type of insurance do I need for the tour?

You must have a winter sports insurance covering skiing and snowboarding accident risks.

Such an insurance policy can be bought in Georgia for at least 2 USD a day.
