Czech journalists, bloggers visiting seaside Adjara tourist sites for promotion

Bloggers and journalists from the Czech Republic are visiting Georgia’s Black Sea region of Adjara to explore tourist destinations before preparing promotional articles, blog posts and TV reports about the attractions, the Adjara tourism department said on Thursday.

Beside being hosted in the mountainous areas of the region, the visitors were also shown around Mtirala national park, where they enjoyed local tourist services and hiked the park’s trails.

About 150 representatives of tour agencies and media have been introduced to the tourist potential of the seaside region through the department’s programmes, with the regional body saying the visits have resulted in 700 international media articles, blog posts and social media.
