As USAID Georgia stated, USAID supports Georgia’s journey toward a more secure energy future with the installation of the country’s first-ever floating solar plant in the village of Lemshveniera in Gardabani region. The plant will generate 300,000 kWh each year to irrigate nearby fruit orchards, harnessing renewable energy to create economic growth.
This is one of several USAID-supported renewable energy projects in Georgia.
